Escape to Tranquillity

Conwy, A World Heritage Site.

Few areas in Britain can begin to compare with the splendour of the North Wales coast and the attractions it has to offer - rugged mountains, rolling green hills sloping gently down to superb beaches, and all so easily accessible from the A55 expressway.
A tranquil holiday haven awaits you at Berthlwyd Park, just two miles south of Conwy on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Picture above shows Conwy castle with Conwy harbour photographed below.

We are within easy reach of the ancient town of Conwy with it's medieval castle, centuries old buildings and complete town walls. Conwy is one of the most picturesque and historic towns of Great Britain, its location and harbour making it ideal for sailing and water sports.
Regular sea angling trips operate from the Quay and the Conwy River is famous for its trout and salmon.

In Wales history surrounds you, from castles and churches to country houses such as the splendid Plas Newydd or Plas Mawr plus many more. Whatever the weather you'll not be stuck for something to do, there is plenty of space and good facilities within easy reach for visitors who wish to try hill-walking, horse riding, golf (four courses within easy reach of the park), tennis, squash, fishing, sailing, and an abundance of local inns of character. There is plenty for the children too, from narrow gauge railways to the many beaches and zoos. The Conwy Valley is ideal for woodland and mountain walks, or why not take a picnic and spend a quiet day out fresh water fishing or boating on one of Snowdonia's beautiful mountain lakes.
